1. Agreeing to these terms

By using AsianMasc Community (the "Service"), you accept these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. What the Service is

Healthy AM peer-support tools for the AsianMasc community: intakes, 1:1 thread matching, support groups, and mentor training. Free to use for verified AsianMasc Discord members.

Not therapy, not crisis care.If you're in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health crisis, call/text 988 in the US or your local emergency number. Always consult a licensed professional for medical advice.

3. Account & age

  • You must be 18 or older to use Healthy AM. Peer support involves discussion of adult experiences and isn’t structured for minors.
  • You need a Discord account and verified role in the AsianMasc server
  • You're responsible for your account's security
  • Provide accurate information; don't impersonate others

4. How to behave here

You agree not to:

  • Share another member's intake answers or private threads outside this group
  • Harass, threaten, or harm other members
  • Use the Service to circumvent Discord's or AsianMasc community rules
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access or disrupt the Service
  • Misrepresent the Service as licensed therapy

Violations may result in losing peer-support roles, suspension from the Service, and moderator action in the Discord server.

5. Mentor responsibilities

If you train as a Healthy AM Mentor, you agree to:

  • Complete training before taking intakes
  • Keep member content confidential within the leadership group
  • Refer to professional resources when someone needs more than peer support
  • Avoid dual relationships and conflicts of interest
  • Document accurately and follow established intake/escalation protocols
  • Escalation when there’s imminent risk: if you become aware that a member is in immediate danger of harming themselves or someone else, you’ll alert a Healthy AM lead and direct the member to 988 (US) or local emergency services. We are not a crisis service and do not have a duty-of-care relationship; this is the community standard, not a clinical obligation.

6. Content & data

You keep ownership of what you submit. By using the Service, you grant us a license to store and display your content as needed to run the Service. See Privacy for specifics.

7. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service up, but offer no guarantee of uptime. We may modify or discontinue any feature at any time. The Service is provided "as is".

8. Limits of liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, AsianMasc Community, its operators, and Healthy AM mentors are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Peer support is one input among many in your life — own your decisions.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or community guidelines. You can leave at any time — ask a mentor lead to close your account.

10. Governing law

These Terms are interpreted under the law of the place where the AsianMasc community’s operating entity resides at the time of dispute. If we set up a dedicated legal entity for the program, we’ll update this section with the specific jurisdiction and announce it.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. We'll announce material changes in the AsianMasc Discord. Continued use means acceptance.
